Anthropic has acquired the dev tools startup used by OpenAI, Google, and Cloudflare

Anthropic just bought Stainless, a New York startup that's been quietly powering some of the biggest names in AI. Founded in 2022, Stainless built tools that automatically generate and maintain SDKs, those code libraries developers need to work with APIs.

Their client list reads like a who's who of AI: OpenAI, Google, Cloudflare. That's not a coincidence. As AI companies race to get their models into developers' hands, the quality of their SDKs can make or break adoption.
