Spotify Studio's AI agent creates a daily podcast just for you

Spotify just dropped Studio, a standalone AI app that feels like having a personal podcast producer in your pocket. It generates daily briefings, custom podcasts, and playlists by pulling from your Spotify history and whatever else you connect to it, like your email, calendar, and notes.

The interesting part is that Studio doesn't just summarize content. Spotify says the AI can actually take action on your behalf, researching topics, browsing the web, organizing information, and helping you knock out tasks. Think of it as a chatbot that outputs audio instead of text.

Anything you create in Studio gets saved directly to your Spotify library, so your AI-generated daily briefing sits right next to your regular podcasts. It's launching as a research preview in the coming weeks for users 18 and up.

This matters because it's another sign that AI is moving beyond text chat into ambient, audio-first experiences.
